Parent for Greater Things
From the moment our child is born, as parents, we see the next step.
We gloriously watch and cheer on our babies as in a blink of an eye they grow and develop into more of who they are created to be.
When they make mistakes, we look beyond the moment to all that they can be and remind them of who they are.
The times they get lost in all that they “can’t”, we encourages them that they in fact, can.
Parents, we get to be that one who looks past our child in their humanity, and see all that they can be through faith. We get to parent our children into the greater things of the Lord. This is our legacy and theirs as well.
Let us for a moment stop and reflect on all that God could be doing in our children. Let us pause, rest, and release them to the purposes that He has for them. Most importantly, let us ask God for strength and courage to lead our kids to the promised land.
Let us remind our children of their kingdom purpose and destiny by teaching them these verses so that they not only have them planted in their head, but they live them out through their heart. The verses below are all components and keys to the greater things God has for our children. Let us teach our children to anchor in these truths as God reveals to them daily of who He is and who He has called them to be.

Joshua 1:9- “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”
